# Get a Core inventory transaction

> Retrieve a single Core inventory ledger transaction (CIT) with its allocated cost lines,
lineage, and a `unit_cost_breakdown` explaining how the transaction's unit cost is derived
from its cost lines.

**Availability:** Returns **404** for tenants that do not have Luminous Core enabled, or when
the transaction does not exist.
